These gamefish chase and ambush prey and are opportunistic feeders, so you can easily target them with live bait or artificial lures.

In South Africa, the daily bag limit for Garrick is two per person, with a minimum size requirement of 70 cm total length. Additionally, Garrick is classified as a no-sale species, making it illegal to buy or sell them in the country.
